-Congrats
to the Girls Varsity for winning the AA/A title with an undefeated Region

Week of April
3, 2006
-4/4/06 was a tough day against our Wildcat neighbors for the soccer
teams, with only the Girls MS team coming out with a win and the Girls JV
ending up with a tie. Onward to
better outcomes in the important upcoming Region games.
-The Lovett Vs both play Pace at home on Friday night. Both of these
games could decide playoff standings, so fan support is critical! This is also Soccer Spirit Night with the Lionbackers providing a free cookout. The weather should be perfect, so come
enjoy a great night of action and fun.
-Thanks to all the boys and girls soccer players and their families
for coming to the Soccer Pizza Party on Sunday night – we had a great
crowd and a lot of fun. Kudos to Victor and the Mellow Mushroom-Kennesaw
for hosting the event and to the Blekes for organizing it.

Week of March 27, 2006
-Both the Boys & the Girls V & JV teams played strong
Blessed Trinity teams on Thursday March 30th, with the JV Girls being the
only Lovett team to come out on top.
Congrats to the JV Lady Lions!
-MS Boys won against Wesleyan, 1-0.
Go Lions!
-Both V teams won their Area games against
Mt. Paran last week, taking the Girls to
5-0 & the Boys to 4-1 in Region play.

3/24/06: Many thanks to all the parents who contributed food/$$ to the World
Cup party this week. And a HUGE
THANK YOU with Kudos to the Whites for hosting everyone – it was a
big success!
3/17/06  Jamie
gets a hat for his 18th birthday …make that a hat trick in the 8-0 Area 1
game against Landmark Christian.

3/2/06: The JV boys played
against a very tough McIntosh team on Wed., and the game was much closer
than the 0-3 score represents. There
was a 5-minute window during which McIntosh managed to score, but for the
remaining 65 minutes, the teams were well-matched.
-The Lovett MS boys shut down Whitefield on Spring Break eve with a
resounding 7-0 victory.

2/21/06: Lovett JV ties GAC
2/17/06: JV boys SHUT OUT Whitefield, 1-0, with a goal by Derek
Rowley, strong field play and some great saves by Steven Joy! Way to go Lovett!!
2/13/06: The game time for
the boys JV game against Westminster
on 4/4/06 has been changed from 5:30 pm to 4:00 pm. The new schedule is updated on the
Lovett.org website.
